Checking that a source exists.

A fluent answer can cite a paper that was never written, or quote a person who never said it. When the answer goes into a government report or a legal file, that is a serious failure, and it is a direct consequence of generating the likely rather than the known.

Grounded, or not made

Senua AI answers from what it has learned, and every answer carries the source it came from. A citation is checked against a document that exists. If the engine cannot ground a statement, it does not make it, and says that it could not.

The same discipline, at the camera

A record can be fabricated, and so can a face. Deciding whether the person in front of a camera is really there is the same question asked of a different stream, and it is best answered on the capture device itself.
