Technology
Security and cryptography.
How Senua AI protects your data and its own software: every algorithm we use, how each measures up to the Australian Government's guidance, and our path to quantum-safe cryptography.
The engine and the products carry Senua AI's own cryptography, with no third-party library, each primitive checked against public test vectors. Our hosted services on AWS use AWS Key Management Service and AES-256 at rest.

At a glance
- Releases
- Signed with ECDSA P-384 by a key held in AWS KMS, and checked before anything is unpacked.
- Engine software
- Encrypted, and decrypted only into the running process's memory.
- Passwords
- PBKDF2-HMAC-SHA-256 at 600,000 iterations.
- Connections
- TLS 1.3 only, to a declared trust list or a pinned key.
- Quantum-safe cryptography
- A date on every step, key agreement first, complete by December 2027.

The full registry, under NDA
The complete registry lists every cryptographic use by service, with key custody and lifetimes, what each connection negotiates, and the roadmap step for each. It is available to buyers and assessors under a non-disclosure agreement. Ask for the full registry. The register states the technology as shipped on 20 October 2026.
