Use cases

Check the face is real, at the camera.

Deepfakes now get past remote identity checks. Most detectors run in a data centre, after the video has been compressed and much of the evidence is gone.

The problem

In August 2026 ASIC warned that AI impersonation scams are "an emergency in the making". Australians lost more than $2 billion to scams in 2025, and one lender recorded 8,065 attempts to inject fake video into its face check in eight months. From March 2027 the Scams Prevention Framework expects banks, telcos and platforms to show they took reasonable steps. ABC News.

How Senua AI solves it

  • It reads how real faces move. A generated face changes from frame to frame differently from real skin, and Senua AI shows where, with a confidence.
  • It needs no examples of fakes. It learns what real looks like, so a new deepfake tool is not a blind spot.
  • It runs on the capture device. A few megabytes and no GPU, so it can sit in the phone, kiosk or terminal, before the video is compressed.
