Use cases

Stop web attacks without writing rules.

Web application firewalls run on rules that someone has to write, tune and keep current. Tighten them and customers are turned away. Loosen them and attacks get in. And a new attack is not on the list.

The problem

The Australian Signals Directorate found that attacks on edge devices such as routers and firewalls succeeded 96 per cent of the time, and that denial-of-service attacks on critical infrastructure rose 280 per cent. ASD Annual Cyber Threat Report 2024-25.

How Senua AI solves it

  • It learns your normal traffic. It is never shown an attack, so a new one is not a blind spot.
  • It blocks the attacker, not one request. It acts when a visitor's requests agree, within a handful of requests, so one odd request never blocks a customer.
  • It sits in front of everything. Small and fast enough to run on hardware you own, ahead of your servers, with nothing sent out.

Against the OWASP Core Rule Set, the most widely used rule set, it blocked 2.4 times as many attacks at the same false-block rate after learning from confirmed attacks, on CSIC 2010. The full comparison.
