How Senua AI learned to speak.

Senua AI produces its own voice, using the same learning loop it applies to every other signal. It went from a first attempt to intelligible speech in about eleven days, 10 to 21 August 2026.

What was measured

Intelligibility

Of 65 words in ordinary phrases, spoken by Senua AI, an independent speech recogniser understood 59 (90%). That recogniser was also used to prepare the recorded word units the voice is built from.

Listening

Recognising a new speaker is harder, and further behind: about a third of spoken digits from an unseen speaker were recognised correctly.

Running it

Speech is generated by the engine itself, on the processor, with no GPU.
